Catarina Maçã, nasceu em 1989 na cidade do Porto, Portugal. Desde pequena que não sai de um restaurante sem que a toalha de mesa não fique preenchida de rabiscos. Licenciada em Design de Comunicação, começou a encontrar na ilustração um espaço de liberdade e expressão, que muitas vezes não lhe é permitido noutro tipo de trabalhos. Inspira-se sobretudo em gatos, crianças e comida para dar asas à imaginação.

Catarina Maçã, was born in 1989 in the city of Porto, Portugal. Since she was a child, she doesn’t leave a restaurant without the tablecloth filled with doodles. With a degree in Communication Design, she started to find in the illustration a space of freedom and expression, which is often not allowed other types of work. It is mainly inspired by cats, children and food for let your imagination run wild.
