 material: natural plant fiber (bamboo + corn), biodegradable, BPA-free melamin (16%.).
In accordance with EU + FDA requirements.
Tested in accordance with the Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of January 14th 2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with food.

packed: in a strong cardboard box with a belly band.

 handling: suitable for the dishwasher, no microwave.

BAMBOO TABLEWARE

Our bamboo tableware has been tested in an independent laboratory and meets all the requirements set by the EU for dishes that come on contact with food.

Examination conditions: 2 hours at a constant 70C in two different liquids.

They tested the specific migration of

- melamine (EU limit: 0.5w/w. Our dishes: <0.1w/w)

- formaldehyde (EU limit: 15mg. Our tabelware: 0.2mg)

Examined and not detected:

- bispehnol A

- heavy metal

- lead

- cadmium

- volatile organic substances

- polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons

 Ingredients:

1. 49% bamboo fiber

2. 30% corn powder

3. 5% wood fiber

4. 15.5% food grade melamine

5. 0.5% polyamide resin

 The dishes are suitable for the dishwasher but not for the microwave. In addition, they should only be used for food and drinks up to 70C.

We think that bamboo crockery is the better alternative to pure melamine dishes. Ours also have a very low melamine content of only 16%. Our dishes comply with all EU requirements and can safely be used for children. They are also great for camping, because it is so lightweight!
